Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer appointments Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5pm.

  • I offer virtual sessions only.

  • Online therapy allows you to skip the hassle of traffic and parking to make therapy work for your busy schedule. You can connect for our session from wherever you are, so long as it’s in Massachusetts (this is due to professional licensing regulations). The great news is, research has found that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy.

It’s easy to get started: 1) Before your first appointment you will fill out your intake paperwork online via a secure client portal. 2) I’ll let you know I’ve received it, confirm your appointment, and send you a link you can use to join your session when it’s time. 3) You log on at our scheduled time. We’ll use a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform to ensure your privacy is protected.

  • My fees reflect my investment in and ongoing commitment to advanced training and personal growth. In order to protect my energy so that I can show up fully for you, I limit the number of clients I see each week.

    45-minute session $250

    60-minute session $300

    75-minute session $375

    90-minute session $450

I require a card on file before our first appointment and accept all major credit cards.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance companies. However, I am an out-of-network provider. This means you pay me at the time of service, and if your plan offers out-of-network benefits (typically available for PPO plans), you can submit to your insurance company a statement I provide you each month. To find out more about your plan and benefits, please use this guide to contact your insurance company and get the answers you need to determine whether working with me will be a good financial fit.

  • After we have a free 15-minute initial consultation to determine if we may be a good fit, we will find a time that works for both of us to meet for a 60-minute intake session. I’ll ask some questions to get to know more about you and how the problem that’s brought you to therapy came into your life. During this session—and throughout our work together—we will take things at your pace. You get to decide how much you share and how soon. I’ll check in with you about how the fit between us is feeling so far. If we’re not a good match, I’m happy to offer referrals to colleagues who might better fit what you want and need.

  • I reserve your time just for you, and I ask that you give at least 48 hours notice when you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • That depends on your goals and what feels like a workable pace for you. Some people find they can make the progress they hoped for on an issue or problem that is limited in scope within a few months, while others find that having a trusted guide over a period of years gets them where they want to go. However your timeline unfolds, I look forward to supporting you.
